"SWEET STAMPIN" ~ NEW CHALLENGE ~ "SCALLOPS ~ AND GDs!!!

Hello to all of my crafty friends! It is time for a new challenge at "Sweet Stampin" Challange Blog!

This is my card for this week! Tilly cupcake is sitting on her big Turquoise frosted cupcake, my favorite color so you know its yummy, in the middle of a cupcake garden surrounded by scallops. Kind of a funny description! LOL! I really liked this card. It was fun to make!

BRINGING ON THE SUNSHINE AND THE CHA RELAY WITH TGF!

Hello everyone!

I was playing around today, well part of the day and I went to the Greeting Farm! WoW! Haven't been there in a couple of weeks. Anyways I had a new Unicorn from them so I put it to use in this weeks challenge for TGF Bringing Back the Sunshine.
Here she is! All spring and sunny!

Then I decided ~ What the hay~ Let's join in on the CHA Relay which is this fun have to get it done quick today and submited for the next free digis. Lasts 5 days. So here is the first free digi, MerIan, and the card I made.

"FEELING FRUITY" OVER AT "SWEETSTAMPIN" CHALLENGE BLOG!

Hello to Everyone!

This is my card for this week's challenge. My little guy is sitting on a branch with fruit and there is fruit on my paper. As if you can't see it! LOLOLOL!
My camera is acting funny so my pic really isn't that great, sorry! But you can still see how cute he is! I colored him in with 20 year old colored pencils. Yes! I have had them for at least 20 years and really just recently busted into them. I really do not know what stamp this is because it was sent to me pre stamped in a Candy package, Magnolia obviously. But I think he is super cute! My paper is actually from a pack I picked up at "Big Lots". If you have a Big Lots near you, check out their craft section ~ packs of paper's for cheap, primas, embellies you name it they've got it! CHEAP!

"SWEETSTAMPIN" COLOUR COMBO ~ CHALLENGE #8 - GDT OPPORTUNITY - MONTH END AWARD AND MORE!!!!

This week at "SweetStampin" Challenge Blog we have a wonderful Colour Combo Challenge!

This is such a wonderful colour combo to work with!

Please know that you can enter with a card, 3D object, Scrap Page or any type of project that your crafty heart desires. Please use at least three out of four of the colors in this Colour Challenge. If you do not have the exact colours, please come as close as possible.


This is my card for this weeks Colour Challenge here at "SweetStampin".

This is my card for the colour combo challenge. I don't know about ya'll but I really loved this colour combo. I was up at night until 2:30am making this card. I sat with differnt DP that I wanted to use for about 2 1/2 hours. My other half came in and said, "It's twenty minutes to 1". I reached over opened a differnt paper pad and said, "I'll be there in a minute" and BOOM the juices started flowing and I just couldn't stop! I just started cutting and measuring and literally going card crazy! LOLOLOL! Well, this is what came out,

"The Blooming Fairy and Her Unicorn!"
I love Fairies and Unicorns. I have since I was a little girl. I love things that are magical and mystical!

I embossed these two with really old embossing powder. I mean old. The fairy stamp is Hero Arts 1992 edition that I have had since 1992 when she was released. The Unicorn is some unmounted toss up I picked up in a grab bin back then too! LOL! I used some DP from this pad I picked up a while back by Me and My Big Ideas. If you look closely at the bottom square it sort of matches up with the top pattern. That Honestly to God just happened and was not on purpose.

This is just a close up to show you the sparkly embossing powder and the coloring on my fairy and unicorn. Guess what? My pens are 17 years old and I only own 6 Coptic markers!?! LOL!

My next big purchase in life is going to be a big set of Copics!

"SweetStampin" Challenge Blog's #7 challenge has to do with Family First!

This is my card for challenge #7!
It was for my Dad's 61st B-Day on Dec 13, 2009!




Here is something you don't know about me.... I am a huge cowgirl, but I come from a huge surfing family. My Dad shaped boards for the big guys when I was little and is an incredible surfer. My brother was a competitive sufer when we were younger and lives on a Hawaiian Island now. I surfed until I was about 15. I had a surf accident. (Long story short, my Mom used to call me calamity Jane). I figured out then that if I fell off of my horse at least I wouldn't drownd!! LOL ~ Well not really funny. So I stuck with my horses!! My Dad still surfs and shapes surf boards as much as he can!! (He is also a Chiropractic Doctor, so time is limited.) He's still awesome ~ As the paper read's "Old Guy's Rule!!"

The surfers are standing up off of the back ground papers. I created the HBDAYDAD with single stamps and smudged the edges to match. The old woody, I just love. We see a lot of those here!Well, that's just s tidbit about me!! LOLOLOL
